Welcome to your home away from home!

Please be respectful guests and neighbors while staying here, we have an awesome mellow neighborhood of local, year rounders who are down to earth and tolerant of the comings and goings of visitors on this quiet, safe, special dead end road- named Angel for a reason…

Keep it safe & considerate- acknowledge and abide by these important HOUSE RULES and how they may incur DEDUCTIONS to your paid DEPOSIT:

1) SPEEDING = entire deposit

Speeding is a big issue around here, if you are speeding on our road, not only is it very dangerous in this protective neighborhood, it could shut down our business.

Please- DRIVE SLOW, 10 mph, that’s TEN MPH, on our road.

Lots of wandering pets & small children at play- hey, your on vacation, slow down, take it easy!

ANY complaints, at all, of speeding from our neighbors and your entire deposit will be withheld and law enforcement will probably be notified.

2) TRASH RULES = $50 deduction

Trash day is TUESDAY A.M. all trash in trash bin must be BAGGED in garbage bags. Please do not throw any loose garbage from your car, etc… in bins.

Recycling, however, is loose, comingled (not-bagged)

3) RENTAL AGREEMENT= entire deposit & extra charges

Please keep in mind the number of guests, cars, pets etc… in your rental party regarding your RENTAL AGREEMENT. If there are extra guests, or other changes, please let us know ahead of time. Security cameras are installed on the exterior of the property and monitored for parking, maintenance and liability insurance purposes.

4) PARKING: driveway is shared

Rancho Del Mar- 4 car parking spaces total for cottage rental

Barefoot Dreams- 1 car parking space for Airstream rental, (marked by orange cone)

No street parking.

If extra parking is needed, we can make accommodations, but require prior arrangements.

4) BBQ = $75 deduction You are welcome to use the BBQ, but please:

a) Propane tank is luck of the draw. If it’s empty, it’s up to you to exchange it at the Irving gas station or Hannafords ($25ish)

b) Propane tank must be turned OFF after use

c) Clean grill thoroughly & put away all utensils after use, dispose of grease in grease container provided in the bottom compartment- DO NOT throw grease, oil, or ANY food waste onto the ground.

5) YARD

Have fun outdoors; make a bon fire under the stars, share some laughs, sing Kum ba yah- but no fireworks allowed and is illegal in Maine.

Please be responsible on premises; keep the fire safe, a water hose is next to the outdoor shower for extinguishing the fire.

AND Keep it chill- please be sensitive to others, sound travels, QUIET TIME is between 10pm-8am per Town of York law enforcement.

7) NO SMOKING anywhere on premises, at any time. Thanks.

8) If you notice something is “off” like a beeping smoke detector or leaking faucet, please alert us to the issue immediately, so that we may fix it!

9) LAUNDRY = entire deposit plus extra charges

Laundry is a big deal for hosts, we depend on our machines for our business! Sharing with guests poses a challenge- especially in a beach rental. As an extra courtesy, you may use the laundry room, however NO SAND or OBJECTS in our brand new machines!

10) Play at the beach, have blast and get buried in the sand-

But please protect our floors- wash off sand before entering our rentals. For your convenience, there are hoses located at entry to rentals.
